While skating of course you're not focused on any health benefits, but you bet your ass that it is actually is healthy (unlike most other enjoyable things in the world). We gathered a list of benefits so just in case you're curious and want to know what this activity actually does to your body.

Maybe it isn't like running but skateboarding can still burn 340 calories per hour, so maybe you would like to add it to your daily routine. It's the perfect excuse for buying that burger.
When you start performing tricks that requires physical skills, this can turn into work for several muscles of your body like the quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteus maximus, lower legs and the muscles on the torso. So fuck the gym, you got skateboarding.
A lot of physical activities help to alleviate anxiety, and skateboarding is no exception. There are a lot of people that skate as a replacement for traditional therapy counseling and to reduce. It allows you to free your mind, and when you accomplish some tricks, it will give you confidence in yourself.

Imagine being stressed out at work and wanting to relax during the break. Well, skateboarding is the perfect solution. We are talking about an activity that could work as a team building tool for becoming more close to your co-workers and working better. Yes, most enterprises would think that is silly but fuck them, they’re not experts.

The stability you need to keep on top of the board will prove to be useful in other areas of your life, you will be more coordinated and balanced in everyday activities.
