So, you just discovered this great spot on the skatepark or around your block, but you don’t see any dude adventuring to skate towards it, get a little closer, yeah its that big ass crack on the floor probably made after years of people going by that particular spot, but wait, you already have the entire trick planed out? That’s great dude! Don’t give it up, we are going to teach you in very few steps how to fix that SHIT®, pretty sure all of the other dudes will be thankful for your effort.

You will need:

- Duct tape
- Can of Bondo
- Stick to mix the Bondo
- Something like a card to smooth out the mix

You can probably find them in your dad’s garage and make sure to ask for them (don’t get in trouble) if you don’t, you could find a couple of friends to pitch in with some cash and get them on a hardware store, remember it is for everyone on the skateparks benefit!

Alright, now that you have all of this you can begin to cover the cracks with this easy 5 step tutorial.

1: Clean Up and Tape

Grab a broom and make sure to clean up the area you are going to be repairing and make sure to get rocks, twigs, and dust from the crack to be filled to avoid any imperfections, now that you have cleaned make sure to duct tape around the area you will be using the Bondo, like any other painting project, this will give it a more professional and clean outcome, this will be used to make sure that the Bondo you are spreading doesn’t stick outside the crack you are fixing.

2: Mix Up Bondo

Make sure to follow the mixing instructions found on the back of the can and make sure to mix enough based on the dimensions of the crack you are trying to cover, mix the Bondo with the hardener and mix with the stick you found laying around until you get a soft pink color.

3: Pour and Spread!

Now pour the content of the mixing bowl all over the crack and try not to get it outside if the taping zone, get equal proportions of Bondo all over the crack, now, with that old library card that you found expired in your wallet one or two swipes in each direction will do the trick! Keep in mind that Bondo dries super fast so you will have to be quick and make sure you don’t have any uneven parts to avoid any lumps.

4: Remove tape

Slowly, let it dry and you’re ready to complete your trick!

5: Enjoy!

Now try and skating through the crack, smooth right? This is a very simple and easy way to fix these used up spots on the skatepark, we should be aware that these kinds of repairs should be done professionally by your cities or neighborhood council or whatever its called, but let’s face it, 90% of the times they won’t do it, so DIY!! gather a few friends, save up some money and put on a days work on your local skatepark! That SHIT will be worth it!
