Insanity turned into comedy by the Jackass guys, who were a big part of the skateboard culture in 2000s. A series that later turned into a series of movies with stunts that no one would be stupid enough to try out. Now 10 years after the last Jackass movie, they’re finally coming back. With a new release set for 2021 officially announced this past year, we can’t wait to see them again. It may not be just skateboarding stuff, but jackass expresses parts of what skateboarding culture is, doing crazy shit, having fun and being as free as you can.
Known Faces Like Johnny Knoxville Back in Jackass 4
Paramount will release “Jackass 4” the 5th of march of 2021. Jackass 4 will feature good old Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine on the big screen. This franchise has accumulated more than 335 million dollars with their 3 first movies. “Jackass 4” will premier twenty years after the first movie made its appearance. We can expect a tribute to Ryan Dunn, one of the original crew members that passed away in 2011.
Skateboarding and Jackass
In the 2000s, Skateboarding gained popularity partially thanks to Jackass. It may not have been with the most recognized skaters in the world. But they make really amazing skate stuff ending in insane outcomes. Among all the crazy Jackass people, Bam Margera and Jason “Wee Man” Acuña are the ones that actually made a living from skateboarding. Margera made The Loop, a trick not everyone can brag about it, he also won the X Games in 2007. Nevertheless, he had some bad experiencies through his life that led to addiction needing rehabilitation in 2016.
We love the jackass' attitude when it comes to having fun, and that they show that with skateboarding things get even better. We can't wait for another explosion of giggles at the cinema this year and we are certain it won't be a dissapointment!
