Skateboarding rails are a good way to take your skating to another level, gaining some airtime by just sliding on them, falling on them or leaving the rail with a trick, its an extreme test of balance, resistance and overall skills!

There are plenty of tutorials online on how to make you own Grind Rail, but it usually involves welding which is something you don’t want to get into unless you’re a pro, a very good option for a DIY rail is something called  “Liquid Nails” which is not actual nails but an industrial adhesive that is used even on metal.

This will be one of of the most important materials you are going to need for this construction since it is what’s going to get the angle iron onto the wood and you should be able to find it easily at you local Home Depot. Also make sure to use good quality wood, we recommend high-grade birch plywood which is the one used on professional construction for skateboarding ramps, boxes, rais and more.
